Many seeds benefit from winter stratification or a cold treatment. In this workshop, you’ll plant your own seeds and overwinter them outside for transplanting in the garden come spring.

Have the following supplies at the ready:

*Seeds to plant. (Eva's friend Toni, who joined us for our business meeting this week has generously provided some milkweed seeds.  If you'd like some, let Susan N know and we'll plan a hand off before Wed.)

*Plastic jugs like milk jugs, water jugs, juice jugs, kitty litter jugs

*Dampened potting soil that drains well (about 3 inches per jug)

*An exacto knife

*Duct tape or package sealing tape

*Sharpie or other marker or plastic plant labels you can write on
